Timings

As we already know, all of our production buildings make products base on slots and they can only make the products one at a time. Therefore timing is relatively important in order to get the highest production rate as possible. To do this, I have come up with steps to guide you along which I think will let you achieve high production rate. The steps are as follows:

1. At the beginning of the day where you 1st  log into Hay Day, collect all your products and crops.
2. Start making the product which can match your timing intervals.
3. Plant crops and make sure all your produces are well stocked to prevent shortages in your next log in.
4. Continue making your products which match your time to prevent production buildings from idling.
5. At the end of the day which is your last log in, make product that are longer which will match the time which you will next log in on your next day.

From the 5 steps, it may not be possible especially when we have work to do everyday. But it can done if you manage your time wisely. There are buildings which cannot match your timing due to its products time. Therefore one optional solution is to unlock slots. It is alright to have idle buildings. But bare in mind that, making more produce mean generating more income. So if you can schedule your timing wisely, it would be a great advantage towards a richer farm.

Remember, the products are made one at a time. So the calculation here should be total time required for products to ready for collection for each buildings. So that will also means any time before the production buildings goes into idle mode is a good time to log in. Example:

Making 2 blue sweaters in loom means the time for loom to be in idle mode will be 6 hours later.

And as we are dealing with multiple production buildings, we will have all different timing intervals. Therefore we will always pick the lowest time interval for our next log in. Example:

Making 2 blue sweaters = 6 hours
Making 2 chili popcorn = 4 hours
Making 3 cheeses = 3 hours
Therefore logging in after 2 hours would be good because:
After 2 hours:
Loom = 0 collection with 4 hours remaining (1 hour remaining + 3 hours pending)
Popcorn Pot = 1 collection with 2 hours remaining (Can pend in one more chili popcorn)
Dairy = 2 collections with 1 hour remaining (Can pend in 2 more cheeses)

In the above example, there is no idling time for the buildings involved therefore the production rate will be at its maximum.

And one thing I often see those high level players telling those new players not to make products that are slow selling and never sell products at it's maximum price. Those are totally not good and must not be adhered to. Slow selling items may take up your stall's space but eventually they will be bought off by Tom or Greg. And since Tom and Greg will eventually buy off your stall's item after being unsold for 24 hours, why not just sell it at maximum price. It is your hard work that you make all the products, therefore it is your call to sell it at whatever price you want to.

Note: This may not seems very possible but I assure you that it can be done. Suggestively, The longest time interval between log ins to achieve good production rate is 5 hours. I do not want players to exactly follow my productions therefore I will let you all find a comfortable and convenient time interval and products line up for yourself. Always remember, it is alright to have idling production buildings so it is not necessary to make all buildings always working. But if you want all buildings to be working 24/7 non-stop, then you will need to unlock slot to match the time intervals. And it will eventually make you a Hay Day addict (LOL).
