Truck Orders
As I mentioned in my earlier post, we should ignore truck orders if we want to earn money fast without leveling fast. But there is an exception to truck orders which you should not ignore. When you reach a certain level where you can own Smelters and Jeweler, you will be receiving truck orders that request for bars and jewelries. These orders are in grey notes.
As we understand that regular truck orders' offered prices are close to or less than half of the price you can sell on your road-side stall, those bars/jewelries truck orders are not. The offered price for bars/jewelries truck orders are usually above half to more than what you can claim from selling at your road-side stall. And the bars/jewelries truck orders will give out vouchers.
So if you come across any grey note truck orders, do consider before removing it. If you need vouchers, just go ahead and send the orders. If you do not need vouchers, then remove them and wait till you see an offered price that is higher than personal stall price.
Note: Even though you can get higher price from truck order, it is still advisable to sell your jewelries if they are over-stocked. These grey note truck orders do not come very often, so keeping too much jewelries will not give you advantage on earning money faster. And shovels are not easily obtainable, therefore, do not hesitate in buying shovels if you see them on players' stall. That goes the same for bars as they require very long time to produce.
Events
In Hay Day, there are many kinds of events. I will classify them into 3 different groups and explain to you one by one. Participation to the events are solely up to your decision. Here, I will only be explaining their worthiness and purposes of the event.
1. General Events
General events involve goals which you need to meet in order to get rewards. In these kind of events, usually you will get tools, materials or vouchers by meeting each personal goals. General events are like completing boat orders and contribution events where you need to supply products or produces. And at the end of the event, if you are able to meet one or a few (mostly I see is up to 2) personal goals, you will be able to receive a global award if the global goal is met. This kind of event is good if you need material and vouchers. Otherwise it would not be good for flow of money.
2. Participation Events
So far I have only seen one event that falls into this category which is the Fishing event. This event is similar to general events with same rewards and goal targets. But there is no need for supplying of goods. All you need to do is participate and you will be rewarded. Comparing this event type to general events, this event does not affect much on the flow of money, thus a better choice to obtain tools, materials and vouchers.
3. Multiplier Events
These kind of events are without goals. When these events happen, the money gained or experience gained (or sometimes but rarely, both money and experience gained) are doubled. Boats, trucks and visitors are related to this kind of events where their offered money or experience are doubled. If only the experience are doubled, it will cause you quick leveling, therefore it is not good for flow of money. If money or both (money and experience) are doubled, it is good opportunity to make money. The offered amount when doubled will be close to or more than what you can get from selling at maximum price in your road-side stall. So keep a look out for such events if you want to earn more money.
Timings
As we already know, all of our production buildings make products base on slots and they can only make the products one at a time. Therefore timing is relatively important in order to get the highest production rate as possible. To do this, I have come up with steps to guide you along which I think will let you achieve high production rate. The steps are as follows:
1. At the beginning of the day where you 1st log into Hay Day, collect all your products and crops.
2. Start making the product which can match your timing intervals.
3. Plant crops and make sure all your produces are well stocked to prevent shortages in your next log in.
4. Continue making your products which match your time to prevent production buildings from idling.
5. At the end of the day which is your last log in, make product that are longer which will match the time which you will next log in on your next day.
From the 5 steps, it may not be possible especially when we have work to do everyday. But it can done if you manage your time wisely. There are buildings which cannot match your timing due to its products time. Therefore one optional solution is to unlock slots. It is alright to have idle buildings. But bare in mind that, making more produce mean generating more income. So if you can schedule your timing wisely, it would be a great advantage towards a richer farm.
Remember, the products are made one at a time. So the calculation here should be total time required for products to ready for collection for each buildings. So that will also means any time before the production buildings goes into idle mode is a good time to log in. Example:
Making 2 blue sweaters in loom means the time for loom to be in idle mode will be 6 hours later.
And as we are dealing with multiple production buildings, we will have all different timing intervals. Therefore we will always pick the lowest time interval for our next log in. Example:
Making 2 blue sweaters = 6 hours
Making 2 chili popcorn = 4 hours
Making 3 cheeses = 3 hours
Therefore logging in after 2 hours would be good because:
After 2 hours:
Loom = 0 collection with 4 hours remaining (1 hour remaining + 3 hours pending)
Popcorn Pot = 1 collection with 2 hours remaining (Can pend in one more chili popcorn)
Dairy = 2 collections with 1 hour remaining (Can pend in 2 more cheeses)
In the above example, there is no idling time for the buildings involved therefore the production rate will be at its maximum.
And one thing I often see those high level players telling those new players not to make products that are slow selling and never sell products at it's maximum price. Those are totally not good and must not be adhered to. Slow selling items may take up your stall's space but eventually they will be bought off by Tom or Greg. And since Tom and Greg will eventually buy off your stall's item after being unsold for 24 hours, why not just sell it at maximum price. It is your hard work that you make all the products, therefore it is your call to sell it at whatever price you want to.
Note: This may not seems very possible but I assure you that it can be done. Suggestively, The longest time interval between log ins to achieve good production rate is 5 hours. I do not want players to exactly follow my productions therefore I will let you all find a comfortable and convenient time interval and products line up for yourself. Always remember, it is alright to have idling production buildings so it is not necessary to make all buildings always working. But if you want all buildings to be working 24/7 non-stop, then you will need to unlock slot to match the time intervals. And it will eventually make you a Hay Day addict (LOL).
Do not level up too fast
As many people know, leveling up is also part of the fun in Hay Day. Because leveling allows you to unlock more things which you can place on your farm. But you have to understand that things are not cheap in Hay Day, especially the production buildings. So in another words, you can be leveling very fast but you will find difficulty in getting the production buildings you need as according to your level. This will eventually lead to a few minor problems.
1. Unable to complete boat orders due to lack of the production buildings required to obtain the products
2. Slow down the effective production rate due to lack of production buildings
3. Slow down the effective production rate due to lack of produces from animals, bushes and trees
Please note that the completing boat orders I mention above are not during normal period. I will cover a topic about Events which will explain more about it.
As you can see from the problems I mention above, those can greatly affect your flow of money. So leveling up too fast is not a very good option. In order not to level too fast, these are the following pointers that I think is good:
1. Ignore boat orders but still send out 3 calls for help.
2. Ignore and remove regular truck orders.
3. Ignore visitors.
The above-mentioned are the 3 most quick level task in Hay Day. Ignore those 3 task and you won't be leveling too fast. Slow leveling allows you to save money for the next level and you will be able to have a smoother progress for your farm which you do not need to worry about any shortage and incapability.
Another reason for the above-mentioned 3 tasks are their cost-and-sale differences. The cost of making the product asked for are slightly lower than the sale price. Which means your profit from selling products to boats, trucks or visitors are very low. And comparing the maximum price you can place on your road-side stall with the price offered to you by boats, trucks and visitors, it is totally unreasonable. Offered prices are averagely less than half of what you can claim from selling at your road-side stall. That means you are losing out a lot in terms of money when you sell to boats, trucks and visitors while gaining too much in terms of level.
Note: For people who still want to do boat orders but do not want to level too fast, you can do boat orders that ask for more crates of produces. Produces are much easily obtainable compared to products and they are not as cost-worthy than products.
But of course, do not level up too fast do not apply to players whose level are above 60. Players above level 60 would have most of the buildings and structures built and completed. But it is still important to save money as you may be surprised with new buildings, structures and themes in future update which will cost huge amount of money.
Introduction

A good day to everyone of my Hay Day's friends. Today I will start writing a guide to tell all of you how did I manage to earn that much coins within that kind of level. I have been asked via PM regarding this for quite some time now, so I guess it is appropriate for me to share my guide. Please note that this guide is from my own opinion and it may not be 100% correct. This is just how I planned playing Hay Day to get the coins I have now. I also believe that there are better guides out there which are better than mine. So I would like to urge everyone to use this guide as a reference only.
Before I start, I would like to clarify certain terms that I will use during the writing of this guide. This hopefully can let you have a quicker understanding of the terms I use.
Produces = Items that are obtained from trees, bushes, crops and animals.
Products = Items that are obtained from production buildings such as Ice-Cream Maker.
Hopefully this guide will help you out in having a rich and prosperous farm.
